Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Andre LaMon, from the human trafficking unit has executed fifty or sixty search warrants.

Agent LaMon testified about the March 2024 raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Los Angeles residence, telling jurors that law enforcement uncovered large quantities of lubricants, firearms, and drugs during the search.

Prosecutors presented photographs to the jury showing 18 boxes of lubricant stacked in the garage. Additional images depicted bottles of AstroGlide lubricant neatly arranged on shelves, stored in drawers, and even kept inside a cigar box alongside bottles of Johnson & Johnson baby oil.

Agent LaMon stated that agents seized approximately 200 bottles of baby oil and 900 bottles of AstroGlide lubricant from the property.

LaMon explained that the amount and placement of the lubricants raised questions for investigators, who documented their findings extensively through photographs and inventories submitted as evidence.

In addition to the lubricants, LaMon testified that agents seized several plastic bags containing illegal substances. Holding the bags up for the court to see, he identified the substances as ketamine and MDMA.

He described these drugs as commonly used party narcotics, noting that their presence, along with the volume of lubricants and other items found, contributed to the investigation’s scope.

The testimony also covered firearms discovered on the property, “a Ruger, a Glock pistol, some AR-15 platform–the Smith & Wesson rifle, three 30 round magazines, rifles, a Mossberg shotgun, a drum magazine, large capacity, this one was a 60 round.

It had 59 rounds of green tip ammunition in it.  Green tip ammunition is designed to Pierce body armor. One of the guns didn’t have a serial number. It was sanded off with a machine. It’s smooth. Not like it was done with a screwdriver.” Agent LaMon said on direct examination.

Prosecutors focused on establishing the context of the seized items to support broader allegations related to Combs’ conduct and potential illegal activities.

Agent LaMon’s testimony provided jurors with a detailed account of the items found during the high-profile search, offering insight into the ongoing investigation surrounding Combs alleged criminal behavior.

Every gun and piece of ammo was recovered from the security office. When Agent LaMon got there the security office was opened.

Former Assistant Testifies About Daily Life Working for Sean “Diddy” Combs

Jonathan Perez Received Immunity before Testifying

Jonathan Perez, 35, holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and began working as a personal assistant at Combs Enterprises, which later became Combs Global during his tenure. Mr. Perez served as Mr. Combs’ personal assistant from December 2021 until September 2024.

Mr. Perez testified that Ms. Kristina Khorram, often referred to as KK, first contacted him about the position. She offered him a one-week trial period to determine if he was a good fit for the role.

According to Mr. Perez, his base salary was initially set at $85,000 a year but later increased to $100,000 annually. He was paid biweekly, receiving payments from both Combs Global and Combs Enterprises. KK was his direct supervisor throughout his employment.

Mr. Perez said there were typically three to four other personal assistants working for Mr. Combs at any given time. During his early days, he overlapped with assistants including Phil Pines and Frankie Santella.

Mr. Santella was in the process of transitioning into a different role. Mr. Perez also recalled assistants named Joey Chavez, Rob, and Brandan working at various points during his employment.

Mr. Perez testified that Phil Pines only worked as an assistant for two weeks before departing. Despite leaving, Mr. Perez would still see Mr. Pines at events. During these encounters, Mr. Pines would procure marijuana, which Mr. Perez would then deliver to Mr. Combs when requested.

Mr. Perez described another key staff member, Mr. Rodriguez, who served as Mr. Combs’ butler. He said Mr. Rodriguez’s primary responsibility was ensuring Mr. Combs always had the food and beverages he wanted, staying by his side to meet any immediate needs.

Mr. Rodriguez began his employment a few months after Mr. Perez and continued working until almost the end of Mr. Perez’s tenure.

Mr. Perez stated he typically worked from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while assistants Joey or Frank covered the evening shifts.

Regarding finances, Mr. Perez explained that the security team kept cash stored in a safe somewhere inside the residence. If he needed cash for his duties, he would ask Faheem, the head of security, to provide it.

Mr. Perez described “king nights” as instances when Mr. Combs would go to a hotel to have private time with a woman. He testified he would receive anywhere from two to twenty-four hours’ notice to prepare everything required, following the procedures set by previous assistants.

Cross-Examination by Mr. Steele

During cross-examination, Mr. Steele questioned Mr. Rodriguez about firearms. Mr. Rodriguez responded that he had never seen any guns in or around Mr. Combs’ bedroom.

Mr. Rodriguez also agreed that tasks such as arranging king nights, obtaining drugs for Mr. Combs, cleaning up afterward, and shopping for Jane were not listed in his official job description. He said he performed those tasks simply because he was “being a nice guy.”

When asked what he was instructed to do if approached by federal agents, Mr. Rodriguez testified that KK told him to tell the complete truth.

Mr. Rodriguez stated he never witnessed Mr. Combs physically assault anyone. Mr. Steele concluded cross-examination by presenting documentation Mr. Rodriguez had kept getting reimbursed for various expenses from TriStar.
