Mia’s Testimony Faces Scrutiny in Combs Case

As Revolt Films began to shut down, Mia testified that she felt betrayed, sending text messages to KK (Kristina Khorram) expressing her despair and thoughts of suicide. KK responded that after everything that has happened with her, she couldn’t do this with her. 

Mia apologized, she was not thinking about what others may have been going through. She felt like Mr. Combs shut down Revolt Films to hurt her. This wasn’t a business decision. In the days leading up to Cassie’s lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, Mia also texted Mr. Combs himself.

During cross-examination, defense attorney Mr. Steele challenged Mia’s credibility by highlighting a point from her résumé describing her as having a “strong personality.” He suggested this characterization was inconsistent with her earlier testimony about the sexual and psychological abuse she alleged Mr. Combs inflicted.

Mr. Steele referred to some other points on her resume. The fact that she had experience in collecting passports for traveling internationally. Mr. Steele asked her if Mr. Combs had everyone’s passport in his safe on the yacht. 

Mia answered yes. It changed narrative from the story she told on direct examination when she couldn’t leave because Mr. Combs had her passport specifically. 

Despite leaving the company and filing a wrong-termination lawsuit against Mr. Combs, Mia continued to contact him. She sent messages describing a nightmare in which R. Kelly attacked her, and Mr. Combs came to her rescue, telling him, “Sending you all the love in the world,” accompanied by a heart emoji. 

When pressed to explain how the man she accused of sexual and physical abuse could also appear as her savior in her mind, Mia responded, “Psychologically, Puff used to be my protector. I can’t explain the psychology behind it.”

Mr. Steele’s passive aggressive line of questioning continued into Monday, mirroring his approach on Friday. Observers noted that his tactics appeared to leave Mia increasingly flustered, confused, raising further questions for the jury about her credibility.

Re-Direct

The prosecution clarified that Mia’s posting about Mr. Combs Birthdays, his Activities, etc. were part of her job duties. Mia said he had such a hold on her psychologically that she did this automatically. 

Could be what the forensic psychologist was explaining to the jury. Other employees posted as she did. 

If the jury understood Dr. Dawn, maybe they will understand. Mia was more talkative and relaxed with the prosecutors. Could it be that a female doesn’t remind her of the abuse she claims to have gone through? Mr. Steele definitely had a negative effect on Mia. 

Area Director of Sales and Marketing of the Beverly Hills Hotel Testifies

Sylvia Oken, area director of sales and marketing at the Beverly Hills Hotel, later testified as a custodial witness for the prosecution, stating that several of Combs’ hotel bills contained additional charges for cleaning and property damage.
