Results from Kid Cudi’s Car Investigation

Police and fire investigators who looked into Kid Cudi’s allegations testified. The arson investigator determined that his car was targeted, and the fire was not random.

Deonte Nash

Deonte Nash, a celebrity stylist who worked for Sean Combs’ company for several years. Mr. Nash testified that he witnessed Combs physically assault Cassie Ventura on multiple occasions. Mr. Nash told the court he also heard Combs threaten to withhold Ventura’s music or release sex tapes of her. 

He recalled Ventura confiding in him that she was pressured into having sex with other men while Combs watched, even though she did not want to. While Ventura never explicitly defined the term “Freak Off,” Nash suggested it referred to those encounters.

Nash also described experiencing violence himself, stating that Combs once threw him onto a car. In one instance, Nash said he attempted to intervene during an assault to stop him from hitting Ventura.

Cross-Examination

The defense noted that Mr. Nash was only in court due to being subpoenaed. Mr. Nash told the jury he only had an attorney for this federal trial for his own protection. He does not have an Attorney for a civil case against Mr. Combs. Mr. Nash didn’t change any of his prior testimony.
